As suas tecnologias, como a Dry Contact Plus e a Wet Braking Pro, foram concebidas para oferecer ao condutor de autom\u00f3veis desportivos e de alta performance uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de confian\u00e7a e controlo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Estas tecnologias tamb\u00e9m desempenham um papel na melhoria do meio ambiente, na medida em que introduzem novos materiais sustent\u00e1veis inovadores na mais recente gera\u00e7\u00e3o da fam\u00edlia Eagle F1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEm 2020, a Goodyear fixou o arrojado objetivo de criar um pneu fabricado a 100% com materiais sustent\u00e1veis at\u00e9 final da d\u00e9cada,\u201d explica Philippe Schmit, Engenheiro Chefe da Goodyear. \u201cOs cientistas e engenheiros que trabalham no Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 obtiveram enormes avan\u00e7os para o alcan\u00e7ar desse objetivo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Philippe Schmit possui uma vasta experi\u00eancia em desenvolvimento de materiais na Goodyear. Com uma carreira que abrangeu fun\u00e7\u00f5es em desenvolvimento qu\u00edmico, e engenharia de materiais e compostos, dirigiu a equipa de 20 especialistas de desenvolveu as mat\u00e9rias-primas para o novo pneu, como o pr\u00f3prio esclarece:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A equipa est\u00e1 dividida, para que metade se foque nas mat\u00e9rias-primas, e a outra metade em refor\u00e7os, sejam o a\u00e7o ou org\u00e2nicos. A principal diferen\u00e7a entre o Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 e o seu predecessor s\u00e3o as novas resinas de tra\u00e7\u00e3o avan\u00e7adas, que fazem com que o desempenho da tecnologia Wet Braking Pro seja t\u00e3o impressionante. O facto de serem materiais sustent\u00e1veis \u00e9 algo de que a nossa equipa est\u00e1 orgulhosa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A Goodyear tratou o desenvolvimento de mat\u00e9rias-primas para o Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 como um projeto global, com o objetivo de desenvolver uma resina que pudesse ser utilizada em todos os futuros produtos UHP da empresa.<\/p>\n<p>Philippe Schmit acrescenta: \u201cAs nossas instru\u00e7\u00f5es eram criar uma resina que potenciasse a tra\u00e7\u00e3o e a performance sobre piso molhado por compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o pneu anterior, mas que tamb\u00e9m atingisse os nossos objetivos de sustentabilidade corporativa. Fizemos a transi\u00e7\u00e3o de resinas \u00e0 base de \u00f3leo de petr\u00f3leo para bioeresinas. As quais t\u00eam por base \u00e1guas residuais da ind\u00fastria do fabrico de papel. O tratamento espec\u00edfico da \u00e1gua nessa ind\u00fastria cria a base para um novo tipo de resina. O que assente na recente distin\u00e7\u00e3o atribu\u00edda \u00e0 Goodyear por uma federa\u00e7\u00e3o empresarial do Luxemburgo (FEDIL), na categoria Processamento, pela sua resina de tra\u00e7\u00e3o.
